Pak'nSave North Island has come out on top - in an international grocery-price comparison of four sellers

Pak'nSave North Island has come out on top - in an international grocery-price comparison of four sellers

It calculated the price of a basket of 20 common items from Woolworths New Zealand, Woolworths Australia, the UK's Tesco - and Aldi in Australia.

After adjusting for sales tax, currency rates and pack sizes, the Pak'nSave was seven dollars cheaper than its closest competitor.

Foodstuffs CEO, Chris Quin, says that result is encouraging and shows Pak'nSave is providing competitive prices.
