    Police are urging residents in Wellington's Totara Park to check their properties for a missing 60-year-old with Alzheimer's


    Brett Carpenter was last seen on Hartford Crescent at about midday today and a search and rescue operation's under way in the wider Upper Hutt area.

    Police says Carpenter has grey hair and is tall and skinny, last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black trackpants, with white stripes on the leg.
