    Internal demolition should begin at Auckland's fire-gutted Victoria Park New World - within weeks


    It was extensively damaged inside and outside, last month.

    Foodstuffs North Island has confirmed stabilisation work's still being done - with the building too dangerous to enter.

    General Manager, Lindsay Rowles, hopes they can replace and reopen the supermarket by 2027.

    He expects to the building to be emptied and safer before demolition begins.
