    A man's appearing in court on assault charges today after the discovery of a woman's body in Auckland


    Police were called to an Ashlynne Avenue address in Papatoetoe about 10.30 on Saturday morning.

    A 50-year-old man will appear in the Manukau District Court.

    Enquiries are ongoing, and a post-mortem will be conducted today.
