Armed civilian militia are patrolling Venezuela's capital - whose President and his wife has been kidnapped by the US

Venezuelan media reports 57 people were killed in the attack - including soldiers, 32 Cuban fighters, and two civilians.

Some normality's returned with Vice President Delcy Rodriguez taking up the reins.

But France24 Latin American Correspondent Noris Argotte Soto says military and security forces are very visible.

She says there are reports of these groups searching people's phones for messages promoting Maduro's capture.
