Black Caps coach Gary Stead expects his core squad to feature in internationals and the T20 component of the domestic schedule this summer

Black Caps coach Gary Stead expects his core squad to feature in internationals and the T20 component of the domestic schedule this summer

The team will play two tests against Pakistan, starting Boxing Day in Mt Maunganui and January 3rd in Christchurch.

That's in the heart of the Super Smash from December 24 to February 13.

Stead explains how he expects it to work.

Two more tests come before Christmas against the West Indies in Hamilton and Wellington.

Australia come in late February and Bangladesh arrive for limited overs tours in March.
