The Black Caps hope the Pakistan cricket side adhere to their specific protocols for the remainder of their time in MIQ

The Black Caps hope the Pakistan cricket side adhere to their specific protocols for the remainder of their time in MIQ

The visiting side were found to have breached protocols on day one of their isolation period in Christchurch - the same day six players tested positive for Covid-19.

It's caused the Ministry of health to issue a 'final warning,' with the side sent home and the tour called off if another breach occurs.

Black Caps Twenty20 captain Tim Southee is hoping there's no further issues.

And eight and a half months after their last game, the Black Caps are in action tonight in the first of three Twenty20s against the West Indies at Eden Park.

    First ball is at 7.
