    Australian tennis star Ash Barty has been sensationally knocked out of the Olympics singles in the first round, stunned by Spaniard Sara Sorribes Tormo in straight sets


    Barty - the newly-crowned Wimbledon champion - has lost 6-4, 6-3.

    It leaves her medal hopes resting on the doubles, where she advanced to the second round with a first-up win alongside Storm Sanders.
