Brian Tamaki is due to appear in court today ... but there's a chance the hearing will be postponed

The Destiny Church leader won his appeal yesterday against being remanded in custody and was released from prison.

He was locked up for nine days after being arrested last Monday, for allegedly breaching bail conditions by speaking at an anti-vaccine rally.

Tamaki left the prison about 5.30 last night - without speaking to hundreds of supporters who gathered outside.

He's due to appear in the Auckland District Court today, facing charges of breaching his bail conditions.
