The White Ferns have won their maiden T20 cricket World Cup, beating South Africa by 32 runs in Dubai

The White Ferns have won their maiden T20 cricket World Cup, beating South Africa by 32 runs in Dubai

They posted 158 for five after getting sent in.

Amelia Kerr, the woman of the match and tournament, top-scored with 43 and returned figures of three for 24 to help dismiss the Proteas for 126.

She feared fatigue would take a toll on Sky Sport.

The victory marks their first international silverware since the 50-over title in 2000.

Meanwhile, in Bengaluru, the Black Caps have completed a third test win across almost 69 years in India.

They have triumphed by eight wickets chasing 107.

Captain Tom Latham has put the feat in context.
