Police were called to Michael B. Jordan's home after an alleged intruder was spotted in his garden

The 'Creed' actor's security team called cops in Los Angeles on Wednesday (18.12.24) afternoon after they escorted a mystery man from the 37-year-old star's front yard, and when officers arrived, the suspect tried to claim he was also a member of Michael's security staff, TMZ reports

According to the outlet, Michael's team told police they just wanted the man removed and after officers took the suspect's information, he was released.

However, they later decided they wanted to press charges so LAPD took a trespassing report and detectives will conduct an investigation before forwarding their files to prosecutors, who will make a decision on possible charges.

There is no known history of the man coming by the house before.

Although Michael was at home when the would-be intruder was spotted, the 'Black Panther' actor left the house while police were there and did not have any contact with the man.

In 2021, the actor-and-director admitted he had been thinking more about the roles he takes on, and the importance of signing up for films like 'Thomas Crown Affair' and 'Fahrenheit 451', which feature parts that weren't written specifically for Black actors.

He told Men's Health UK magazine: "You take these roles that aren't written specifically for [you] because they have a platform, and you inject yourself and your experience into the character.

"That's the Trojan horse. Until this past year or so, that was a lot harder to do.

"We're in this moment in time where I think, now more than ever, places are looking for that, because if not, there are ramifications [and] criticism."

Meanwhile, the hunky star also admitted he loves taking his shirt off on screen as he is currently in his "physical prime".

He told The Hollywood Reporter: "Look, we're only going to be at this age once and have the ability to play these roles, to be physical and take my shirt off.

"I'm in my physical prime right now in this moment. So I have been, like, yeah, we're gonna milk this."

However, the 'Without Remorse' actor confessed he doesn't want to be typecast as someone who is only known for showing off his body on screen.

He added: "Lately, I've started to really think about and daydream about the future and what roles and what direction I want to go in, so there have been moments where I want to throw on a suit rather than a tank top. Maybe go for a shirt over a fitted tank, you know what I mean?

"My team and I have done a really great job at strategically figuring out when is good to be [PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive] or when it's really cool to just chill and put on some sweats and a T-shirt."
