A woman's been convicted of defrauding a Porirua trust that helps needy children, to the tune of one million dollars

Open Justice reports 41-year-old Lesha Warren entered a guilty plea to a charge of obtaining by deception, in the case taken against her by the Serious Fraud Office.
Warren worked as a financial administrator at Te Roopu Awhina Ki, where she for two years made fake supplier invoices paying herself, using some of the money on gambling.
