MetService says its Warnings and Watches for heavy rain remain in force.
There are Orange Heavy Rain Warnings until mid-morning for Tasman northwest of Motueka, and for North Canterbury around and north of the Waimakariri River.
The Heavy Rain Warning for Taranaki Mounga has now been lifted.
