Police are looking for a man - allegedly involved in an assault on a woman in Papatoetoe earlier this month

The man allegedly used extreme force causing the woman to fall to the ground - after she tried to walk away from him on Kolmar Road around midnight on May 9th.

She was taken to Middlemore Hospital and is still recovering from serious head injuries.

Police say no witnesses have been found - but have released a CCTV image of a man thought to be the offender.
