    A man's in custody after a Police car was rammed and a firearm seized in Christchurch this morning


    The vehicle was fleeing Police on Marshland Road just before 10.30am.

    Police located the abandoned car on Parnwell Street and say they found a firearm inside, and arrested a man nearby.

    The Police car was damaged but no officers injured.
