Mercedes Formula One driver George Russell is staggered to be on pole for tomorrow morning's Singapore Grand Prix

Mercedes Formula One driver George Russell is staggered to be on pole for tomorrow morning's Singapore Grand Prix

The Brit topped qualifying ahead of the Red Bull of Max Verstappen and the McLaren of championship leader Oscar Piastri.

But Russell has no idea how he succeeded.

Liam Lawson crashed TWICE in practice...and will be 12th on the grid for the 306 kilometre race.
