Tom Daley is teaming up with Ben Sherman for a range of hats and scarves

The five-time Olympic medalist is known for his love of knitting, and is collaborating with the brand on a range in the colours of the Union Jack to mark Ben Sherman being the official ceremony wear supplier of Team GB for the Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.

Ben Sherman will create head-to-toe outfits for the opening and closing ceremonies in their fourth venture with Team GB, and the athletes carrying the flag will wear Tom's hats and scarves.

The handcrafted designs will feature GB lettering and cable-knit pattering inspired by the textures of snow and the winter landscapes of Milan and Cortina.

Natasha Fishman, chief marketing officer of Marquee Brands, who own Ben Sherman, told WWD: "The Olympic Games offer an unparalleled platform for brands to connect with global audiences through fashion and storytelling.

[Working with Tom fuses] athletic achievement with visionary storytelling in a moment of national pride."

Tom will continue to work with and "champion" Ben Sherman in the UK and the US in the future.

The 31-year-old star is proud of the collaboration.

He said: "Having had the honour of serving as a flag bearer for Team GB during my last Olympic Games, I understand how powerful that moment is. It's more than carrying a flag; it's carrying the stories, hopes and identity of everyone who made that journey with you."

Ben Sherman's Opening Ceremony outfits include a wool dogtooth topcoat with checked lining, a woold-blend mock-neck sweater with raised stripes and a repeated Union Jack motif.

Competitors will also wear "smart" joggers trimmed with tonal Union Jack tape, an oversized scarf, matching hate and winter boots laced in red, white and blue.

The closing ceremony outfits include a woold-blend knitted track hacket and a navy and ecru merino base layer.

Tim Ellerton, chief commercial officer of Team GB, said: "Ben Sherman has created an Olympic ceremony collection that our athletes will be truly proud to wear at Milano Cortina 2026.

"The collaboration with Tom Daley is a demonstration of how embedded the athletes are in the process of creating what we think will be one of the most exciting ceremony wears on show at the Games."

Ben Sherman and Team GB will release an exclusive retail capsule collection inspired by the official looks on 8 December, including Tom's hat and scarf designs.
