Three people have been killed in Taiwan, in a stabbing attack involving smoke bombs at metro stations in Taipei City

Witnesses say the 27-year-old suspect wore a gas mask and a bullet proof vest and ran around while attacking Taipei Main Station and Zhongshan station.

It's understood at least eight people were stabbed.

Local reporter Martin Yip told the BBC the suspect - who was also found dead after falling from a building, was wanted for evading military service.
