    Some late innings bowling blips have cost New Zealand smooth passage to the T20 World Cup semi-finals in Sri Lanka


    The Black Caps have been stunned by England in a four wicket loss to end the Super Eight stage in Colombo.

    After posting 159 with the bat, New Zealand had England on the ropes at 117 for six with roughly three overs remaining.

    However, a scintillating partnership of 44 runs off 16 balls between Will Jacks and Rehan Ahmed powered England to victory.

    If Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by 64 runs or chase their target in 13 overs tomorrow, they will advance to the semis instead of New Zealand.

    Black Caps captain Mitchell Santner's anticipating a nervier wait on Sky Sport.
