    A promising start to the IndyCar season for Scott McLaughlin


    He's finished second in the opening race at St Petersburg, Florida - 12 seconds behind defending series champion Alex Palou .

    McLaughlin's summed up his day after starting from pole.



    Marcus Armstrong finished 11th and Sir Scott Dixon retired due to a loose right rear tyre.
