With an eye to the Olympics, Lisa Carrington is dropping the event which has brought her the most success in the opening World Cup canoe sprint regatta of the season in the Czech Republic starting tonight

The five-time Olympic gold medalist has opted not to race in the K1 200 which brought her gold in London, Rio and Tokyo but isn't on the programme for Paris.

Carrington will line up in the K1 500, the K2 500 and the K4 500 this weekend.
