Kendall Jenner gets "frustrated" with her father Caitlyn Jenner

The 29-year-old reality TV star and entrepreneur spoke candidly about her relationship with her dad, 76, during an episode of The Kardashians, saying she sometimes has to "compartmentalise" their bond despite their differences.

The episode, which aired on Thursday (30.10.25), featured the pair seated together at a family gathering where the conversation turned to the recent California wildfires.

Caitlyn told her family she was planning to stay put in her Malibu home rather than evacuate. She said she would remain outside with a hose to protect her property if necessary.

In a confessional interview, Kendall reflected on the complexity of her relationship with her father, saying: "I have to compartmentalise my relationship with my Dad in a way because I love her. She's my dad. We have a good relationship.

"But sometimes I get frustrated with her with certain things because we just have completely different views on things."

Despite her frustrations, Kendall said she always tries to ensure Caitlyn remains included in family life.

She aded: "Other than that, I always want to include her.

"I know she doesn't have a lot outside of her family and I think that she gets lonely. You don't ever want someone to be sad, especially your dad and someone you love and care about."

Caitlyn, who previously ran for governor of California in 2021, has been an outspoken conservative voice in the years since her transition.

While Kendall did not discuss politics directly, Caitlyn's ex-wife Kris Jenner has addressed the topic in the past.

On a 2016 episode of I Am Cait, Kris told Caitlyn: "You're not a politician, but you think you're a politician sometimes. Sometimes, when you talk to somebody about your views, not everybody's going to always agree. And sometimes, you can get a little cranky (about that.)"

Caitlyn is an Olympic gold medallist, television personality and transgender rights advocate.

She won the decathlon at the 1976 Olympics before becoming a reality TV figure on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Caitlyn publicly came out as transgender in 2015, transitioning from Bruce Jenner and becoming one of the world's most high-profile trans women.
