    A bronze medal is little consolation for another messy night at the velodrome for the New Zealand men's team sprint


    Ethan Mitchell, Sam Webster and Eddie Dawkins were fastest in qualifying at the UCI track cycling World Cup in Cambridge, but broke apart in the second round with Dawkins effectively riding solo.

    They rebounded to snatch the final spot on the podium, with Dawkins leading out in the final ride.

    Ethan Mitchell says that second ride impacted Dawkins.
