Authorities are appealing for information following three unrelated incidents in Wairoa yesterday

Authorities are appealing for information following three unrelated incidents in Wairoa yesterday

Police seized a loaded .22 pistol and methamphetamine from a vehicle at the intersection of Paul Street and Lucknow Street just before midnight.

Earlier in the evening, they received a report of a firearm being presented at a residential property on Black Street, followed by reports of a firearm being pointed at a vehicle, a short time later.

Police are also making enquiries into a fight on Brian Avenue, where a vehicle is alleged to have been used in an attempt to run those involved over.
