Fire crews have been called to two house fires in the South Island overnight

A fire broke out in a house on Rawson Street in New Brighton, Christchurch about 1.45 this morning.
It quickly spread to a neighbouring house.
Five crews worked to bring the fire under control and fire investigators are due at at the scene this morning.
Earlier, a blaze broke out at a home at Seddon in Marlborough just after 10pm.
There are no reports of any injuries from either fire.
