Wellington bus drivers have accepted a fourth pay offer after months of wrangling over their collective agreement

Wellington bus drivers have accepted a fourth pay offer after months of wrangling over their collective agreement

NZ Bus has confirmed a new employment agreement has been settled with its Wellington Tramways Union drivers.

The long-running saga involved stop-work meetings, a strike, and a lockout.

Council of Trade Unions president Richard Wagstaff says it's a good result.

He says drivers have worked to get a settlement that maintained their dignity and mana, and they've done that by standing up to the company.
