    Red Bull's Max Verstappen has managed to hold off Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton, to seal victory in Formula One's United States Grand Prix in Texas


    Hamilton took the lead early on in the 56 lap race, but a few well timed pit stops worked in Verstappen's favour, who took the lead at lap 36.

    Just one second separated the pair at the checkered flag - which was Red Bull's 200th podium.

    Hamilton says he gave it everything.



    Verstappen now appears the championship favourite with five races remaining this season.
