Middle East war: Biden warns Israel against Iran oil strikes, US military says it hit 15 Houthi targets in Yemen

The US military launches strikes against targets linked to Iran-aligned Houthi fighters in Yemen, while US President Joe Biden urges Israel against striking Iran's oil facilities.

The US military says it carried out 15 strikes against targets linked to Iran-aligned Houthi fighters in Yemen on Friday, local time.

Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden has urged Israel against striking Iran's oil facilities while making a surprise first appearance in the White House briefing room, advising Israel to think about "other alternatives".

Overnight, Israel carried out a series of air strikes in southern suburbs of Beirut, and another that cut off the main border crossing between Lebanon and Syria.

Take a look back on today's updates.
