The Transport Minister says the Northland Expressway is a great investment opportunity

The Transport Minister says the Northland Expressway is a great investment opportunity

The Government's inviting domestic and overseas interest in the first-stage of the four-lane highway, at this week's international investment summit.

Chris Bishop says the road will unlock economic growth, boost productivity and improve the quality of life - in Auckland and Northland.

Bishop says plenty of Government resources will help the project along.

He says it's likely to be on the fast track list and to take advantage of new public works rules announced yesterday.
