    A 73-year-old man who went missing in Masterton earlier this month has been found deceased

    A 73-year-old man who went missing in Masterton earlier this month has been found deceased


    John Rafferty was found by a Search and Rescue team this morning.

    Police Sergeant Anthony Matheson says the death will be referred to the Coroner.

    He says it's not the outcome they were hoping for, but he wants to thank the community for their assistance and the dedication of the search crews.
