Robert Pattinson enjoyed eating food from Jennifer Lawrence's bin

The 39-year-old actor visited the 35-year-old actress' home when she was in the middle of a girls' night, and when he arrived and asked Jennifer for grub, she took the leftovers out of the bin and served them to Robert.

Now, the Die My Love performer has responded to his film co-star Jennifer's claim, which she revealed during the October 17 episode of The Graham Norton Show.

Robert told Entertainment Tonight: "I thought it was delicious. She must have a really nice trash haul."

Reliving the moment she gave him the food from the bin, Jennifer said on The Graham Norton Show: "He was like, 'Hey, I just wrapped something like a block away from you.'

"And I was like, 'Oh my God!' Cause Rob is one of the girls. He wants to gossip. He just is one of the gals. So I was like, 'Come over!'

"He goes to the bathroom, and I do have food, but it's in the trash. And so while he was in the bathroom, I was just, like, pulling food out of my garbage can.

"And then when he was finished, he was like, 'I'm still hungry. Is there more?'

"I was like, 'Well, there is, but it's in the garbage.' He was like, 'Oh, I don't mind.' And he just pulled it out of the trash and just kept eating it."

Jennifer and Robert star in the black comedy-drama Die My Love - which follows Grace (Jennifer), a young mom who develops postpartum depression and enters psychosis alongside her partner Jackson (Robert).

And Robert - whose 33-year-old fiancee, actress Suki Waterhouse, gave birth to their 19-month-old daughter in 2024 - related to some of the struggles that the characters go through when he became a dad.

He said: "Whenever you have a kid, there's no way to prepare for it. And the hormonal shifts on top of everything else, there's no way to prepare yourself for it.

"And I think just to be sympathetic to everything that's going on is probably the best route of action."

Robert admitted it was really easy working with Jennifer in Die My Love - which comes out on November 7.

He explained: "I've always been a massive fan of hers, wanted to work together forever, and it's strange, I didn't really realise that it would be as easy as it was in the end to be friendly, and also how easy it is to work with her.

"She's so good, she's so egoless, and she's just such a natural actress, just amazing to work with her."
