Kim Kardashian broke down in tears with the pressure of studying for her legal exams

The 45-year-old star has been training to become an attorney but revealed earlier this month she had failed the California bar test, and she's now shared a candid behind-the-scenes look at her preparation.

Kim captioned her Instagram video: "I've shared so much of this journey with you, and this summer I documented some of the final two weeks of studying - the ups, the downs, and everything in between."

Despite her disappointment at failing the bar, Kim plans to keep pushing herself to reach her goal.

She added: "On November 7th, I found out I didn't pass the bar. It was disappointing, but it wasn't the end. This dream means too much to me to walk away from, so I'm going to keep studying, keep learning, and keep showing up for myself until I get there."

The video began with the Skims founder crying on her bed before rewinding to two weeks before the exam - which includes five one-hour essay questions, a 90-minute performance test and 200 multiple-choice questions - with clips showing the Kardashians star reviewing cases, working with her professors and studying.

Kim, who was suffering a few "disc issues" following a back injury, even began to dream about missing points during the exam.

Her emotions eventually overcame her and she broke down as she said in the video: "Every time I feel like I'm a step ahead, something happens to try to stop me from doing this.

"A part of me just wants to stop. I just feel like my brain's gonna explode and I still have so much more to go."

But with her and ex-husband Kanye West's four children away on vacation, the All's Fair actress made the most of having more time to study and felt "really good" before the exam.

She said in footage captured the day before her test: "I feel really good about everything.

"My body feels good - it feels way better than it has in previous days. I feel good, like, I feel prepared."

Kim previously revealed on Instagram that she hadn't passed the bar exam.

She wrote: "Well ... I'm not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV.

"Six years into this law journey, and I'm still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up just more studying and even more determination.

"Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged me along the way so far.

"Falling short isn't failure - it's fuel. I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivates me even more. Let's Go!!!!!!!!!!!"

Kim previously enrolled in a four-year apprenticeship with a San Francisco law firm in 2018 and took the baby bar exam three times before passing it in 2021.

She also reportedly passed the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE) in March.
