    Former All Black Ben Smith debuted for Pau overnight against Stade Francais but it lasted just 51 minutes after he was red-carded for leading with the elbow into contact.

    The collision in the 51st minute left Stade hooker Lucas Da Silva needing medical assistance.

    Pau lost 21-18.
