    Serena Williams to play doubles with someone other than her sister at Auckland's ASB Classic

    For one of the few times in her illustrious career Serena Williams will play doubles with someone other than her sister Venus at Auckland's ASB Classic next month


    The American is teaming up with her best friend on tour, Dane Caroline Wozniacki having played exclusively with sister Venus Williams in the past.

    The Williams sisters have won 14 Grand Slam doubles titles together.

    Tournament director Karl Budge says he first got an inkling at the US Open from Wozniacki that the dream pairing could eventuate.
