New Fiji XV's coach Vern Cotter believes his French connection will help him get the best out of his new playing group

The kiwi will join the Flying Fijians after completing his commitments with Montpellier, and has previously coached Clermont.

Cotter says he's been lucky enough to coach a number of Fijian players along the way.
