Incumbent single sculls rower Robbie Manson has opted for the doubles sculls boat with Chris Harris, leaving the door open for Mahe Drysdale to take the single to two World Cup regattas in May.
RNZ Chief Executive Simon Peterson says Manson came to them with the idea before Christmas.
