More changes to the way Auckland Transport buses navigate around Covid-19

More changes to the way Auckland Transport buses navigate around Covid-19

From tomorrow, passengers will be required to use the rear door to get on and off the bus to minimise contact between commuters and staff and limit the spread of infection.

Last week, AT announced drivers will refuse cash fares from today - all customers must pay for their trip using a HOP card.

The Waikato Regional Council is warning that government advice for people aged over 70 or those who have a pre-existing medical condition to stay home will effect bus services.

The extent of this disruption is still being worked through.
