    It's hoped the bodies of two people who died in a glider crash near Taupo will be recovered today - but it depends on the weather


    The accident happened at Mount Tauhara just before 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon.

    The two bodies and the aircraft could not be taken off the mountain yesterday because of darkness, poor weather and the location.

    A police guard was there overnight.

    Police say specialist teams will be helicoptered in as part of the body recovery effort.
