The Ministry of Health won't be reporting on any new cases of covid-19 until the regular 1pm update

New Zealand has seven cases of coronavirus - all due to overseas travel.

But people quarantining at Auckland Airport's Novotel say they've been told someone there has the virus.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says she can't confirm the reports.

She says people will be relocated if they are either positive for Covid-19, or symptomatic.

She says information is being shared with those in the Novotel, but it's nothing to be alarmed about.
