A shooting crisis has left Steel coach Reinga Bloxham scrambling for a quick fix ahead of tonight's ANZ Premiership match with the Magic in Auckland

A shooting crisis has left Steel coach Reinga Bloxham scrambling for a quick fix ahead of tonight's ANZ Premiership match with the Magic in Auckland

The Steel are without Jennifer O'Connell and Georgia Heffernan for the remainder of the competition through injury, and have brought veteran shooter Ellen Halpenny into their squad as cover.

Bloxham also has the inexperienced trio of Kalifa McCollin, Grace Namana and Kiana Pelasio to call on too, but is unsure who will start in the shooting circle.

    Centre pass is at 7pm.

The Central Pulse play the Mainland Tactix in the earlier game, beginning shortly.
