    A cool weather change is good news for skiers hoping to squeeze in a few more days up the mountain


    A ten to fifteen centimetre top up of snow is expected on Mt Ruapehu - just in time for the second week of the school holidays.

    Ruapehu District mayor Don Cameron says Ohakune is bursting at the seams with visitors.

    He says it couldn't be better.
