    Doubt continues to shroud this year's Tokyo Olympics


    About 6000 doctors across Japan say because of the pandemic, the event should be cancelled.

    Tokyo - and eight other districts - are in state of emergency.

    ABC Japan Correspondent Jake Sturmer says things aren't going well.

    He says the mortality rate now is among the highest during the pandemic, stretching hospitals and medical institutions.
