    Those living in Alert Level Two are making the most of their freedom these school holidays


    Bachcare has reported bookings from Christchurch and Wellington residents are up 12 percent on last year.

    Bookings for Rotorua and Marlborough are up 33 percent...and Hanmer Springs is nearly at full capacity.

    However Bachcare spokesperson Matthew Clews says Covid-19 has caused some hesitancy when it comes to how far people will travel.

    He says they're booking places that are close to home and that are within driving distance.
