    Three people have died on our roads since the Christmas-New Year holiday road toll period began yesterday afternoon


    The first was a person in a two-car crash on State Highyway One at Motutere, south of Taupo, at around 7.15 last evening.

    The second death involved a motorcycle collision at Gordonton in Waikato, after 9.20 this morning.

    The third person died following a crash involviong a car and a truck on State Highway One oin the Taieri Plains Highway, at Waihola in Otago at about 9.15 this morning.
