Siouxsie Wiles and Shaun Hendy have filed complaints against their employer - Auckland University

The Covid-19 experts are arguing the university hasn't done enough to protect them from a small but venomous portion of the public.

The Employment Relations Authority has expedited the matter directly to the Employment Court.

Employment law expert Max Whitehead says an employer is obligated to keep their workers safe.

But he says that's a wide spectrum and asks what constitutes being safe.
