    A tense time for the community after the fatal police shooting of Kaoss Price


    The 22-year-old was shot during a vehicle stop on State Highway 3 north of New Plymouth on Saturday night.

    He rammed a police car, after a vehicle he was following in convoy was stopped by police.

    There will be a full coronial inquiry.

    New Plymouth Councillor Dinnie Moeahu says people are heartbroken.

    Moeahu says it's a nervous time ... and aroha and understanding is needed moving forward.
