    Twenty people have died with Covid in the past eight days, to a total tally of 777 -- with a seven-day rolling average of 13


    Today's deaths were one person each from Northland and Auckland; two each from Waikato and Bay of Plenty; four each from Tairawhiti and Greater Wellington; five from Canterbury and one from Southern.

    One person was in their 50s; three each in their 60s and 70s; eight in their 80s and five aged over 90.

    Meanwhile, New Zealand has 9109 community Covid cases today -- and 481 hospitalisations, with 10 in ICU.
