Another day - another rash of ram raids across the country...

Raiders have gone up a size - and rammed a Wainuiomata BP overnight, in Lower Hutt, using a digger stolen from a nearby construction site.

Police say the building is now unstable, and are still on the lookout for the culprits.

Hutt-based National MP Chris Bishop says the community's never seen a ram raid like this before.

He says he feels for the hard-working owners, who must be in shock this morning, along with the rest of the community.
