An under strength Northern Mystics side will have to fight for a spot in the ANZ Premiership netball final

They've gone down 58-40 to the Central Pulse in Auckland... the visitors sealing hosting rights for the Grand Final.

But the Mystics were midcourt was decimated by illness - missing key players Tayla Earle and Peta Toeava - and the hosts were forced to call in reinforcements in the form of shooter Grace Namana and midcourter Ariana Cable-Dixon.

So it's not just the loss of injured Silver Ferns shooter Grace Nweke that's to blame, for Mystics defender Michaela Sokolich-Beatson.

The Mystics now have to travel across town on Wednesday to face the Northern Stars for a place in the final.
