    More weather watches have been issued across the country, looking ahead to Thursday


    MetService meteorologist, Dom Barry says heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in Northland tomorrow - triggering warnings for the region.

    He says the wild weather heads South on Wednesday into Canterbury - with southerlies expected to blow up the East Coast through Marlborough, Wellington and the Wairarapa region till the end of the week.
